Creative icebreaker questions

I recently used an icebreaker with a group which involved them coming up with up to 10 creative and unusual interview questions (I started them off with a couple of examples, such as what was your most recent adventure, or if you could move anywhere in the world where would you go).

I wrote up my reflections on running this activity here.

As an unexpected bonus, people left their sheets behind so I have a great collection of creative questions as a result! For context, the group was made up of staff members and board members in one Wales-based not-for-profit organisation.

Here are their questions for one another:

  • What is your favourite / least favourite personality trait? What personality trait do you most admire in others? What is your pet hate? What personal trait do you most like about yourself?
  • If you were an animal what would you be? If you were a fruit?

What make a good holiday destination? Best place you’ve visited? The most fun place you’ve lived? Best holiday? Next holiday? Where are you planning to go this month? What is your next adventure? What is your “go-to” place?
