For Monday 25th May – Sunday 31st May 2026.
At work:
- Evaluation support – a biiiiiig (and final) working session with the team, finishing the design of all the parts of the evaluation approach.
- Catchment project – progressing with lots of planning and developing workshop sessions, to map our comms and engagement activities over the summer. Things are shaping up.
Deliverables this week:
- Not a lot, just interim stuff like workshop session plans (see above) and proposals to submit (see below).
Development this week:
- Put in a response to an Invitation to Tender for some work on compassionate leadership. Fingers crossed now.
- Working on a proposal to support the development of a regional citizen voice governance body.
At home:
- Bank Holiday Monday – didn’t work (apart from attending a 1 hour webinar about Dialogue) but went to pilates, went for a swim, made elderflower cordial, and wrote a news-y letter to some friends. What a lovely day off!
- Over the course of the week, half an hour here and there, did the many coats of paint and varnish required to finish painting my bedroom door. Done! (Only 3 more doors to do, hah. My nemeses.)
- A very people-y weekend: 4 phone calls, 1 big text conversation, 1 visit in person with lunch and a big walk. Lovely to see and speak with everyone, but it was a bit much for a single weekend! I need to space things out better.
- This week: 3 pilates, 2 swims thanks to the bank holiday, 2 HIIT sessions. No Welsh class because half term, but I did and sent in my homework.

This year’s batch of elderflower cordial
