A water rower seen from above. It's basically a rowing machine which has a big round tank of water at the front, with a paddle which spins when you pull the handles and cord. The faster you pull, the stronger the water resistance. Your feet strap in near the water tank, and the seat slides along two wooden rails. It's about 2 meters long in total. It's built out of wood mostly, with black accents for the handle and cord, the adjustable footrests, and the seat. It is visually very pleasing.

The Three Horizons model as a diagram. The horizontal axis is time, and the vertical axis is "pattern". At the top of the vertical axis, Horizon 1 is the dominant pattern to start with - but business as usual is losing its fit for purpose so the line is declining as time goes on. It doesn't go to zero though as there are elements worth conserving. Horizon 2 starts somewhere in the middle of "pattern" and grows into a strong peak in the middle-term, it is labelled "innovation", and links Horizon 1 to Horizon 3. Horizon 3 starts very low but grows steadily to be the dominant pattern ("viable future") as Horizon 1 is dwindling.

The ospreys nest, which is a large construction of twigs and branches, with the breeding pair perched on it. They have brown wings and white undersides, their head is white with a horizontal band of brown across the eye, and a little mohican at the back of their head. Their beaks are very curved down and sharp looking. Their eyes are yellow. Behind in the distance, rolling green and brown hills.
