Weeknotes 43 (April 2026)

At work:

  • Catchment partnership project is ongoing (for a year) so ticking over with planning various milestones.

Deliverables this week:

  • Finished and sent off the strategic board away day notes.
  • Had a final client debrief and feedback (which was glowing!) on the Women’s Health Website project.
  • Supported a local democracy event organised by OurHouse (on a voluntary basis because it’s interesting!)

Development this week:

  • Had a message about supporting the co-design of a strategic plan, will have the client briefing next week.

At home:

  • 3 pilates this week! No swim because of tide times and having a guest.
  • Had my eyesight and hearing checked. New glasses on order but my ears are fine!
  • Finally back to Welsh class this week and it went way better than I could have expected after such a long hiatus – I didn’t forget everything 🙂
  • Took some time off this week because I had a visitor from Singapore via San Francisco. We had lovely food and I showed her some of Cardiff, which was at its best and being so very… Cardiff… with all the people all over all available green spaces enjoying the sunshine!
  • My mood is lighter this week, the spring sunshine is helping, taking some time off to meander is also helping, feeling a bit less under pressure (but also with sufficient work coming in for the next couple of months) is definitely helping also.

The park outside the City Hall and the Museum in Cardiff, in bright spring sunshine - the trees are in bloom and young leaf, and people are dotted around on the grass enjoying the weather.
